Our "Made-to-Order" Process

Because we are a 100% "Made-to-Order" service. This isn't a delay; it's our promise of freshness.

We do not hold pre-made batter on a shelf. When you place an order, we begin our authentic 13-14 hour process: selecting the grains, soaking, slow-grinding, and 100% natural fermentation. This is the only way to guarantee you receive food with 0% preservatives and 0% soda, just like you'd make at home.

To be included in the next day's fresh-ground batch, you must place your order by 11:59 PM tonight.

  • Example 1: An order placed on Monday at 8:00 PM will be prepared fresh all day Tuesday and delivered on Tuesday evening.
  • Example 2: An order placed on Monday at 11:59 PM will also be delivered on Tuesday evening.
  • Example 3: An order placed *after* the cut-off (e.g., Tuesday at 1:00 AM) will be added to Wednesday's preparation batch for delivery on Wednesday evening.

Store-bought "fresh" batter is made for a shelf. It must contain soda, stabilizers, or preservatives to last for days.

Our batter is made for you. We only start grinding *after* you order, so we can use a 100% natural, slow fermentation. You will taste the difference.

Product & Storage

Just the authentic recipe and nothing more. For our Idli/Dosa batter, we use only premium Urad Dal, Rice, and filtered water. For our Palli Chutney, we use peanuts, spices, and fresh herbs.

We promise: 0% Soda, 0% Preservatives, 0% Stabilizers.

Because it is 100% natural and contains no preservatives, our batter is perishable just like homemade.

You must refrigerate it immediately upon delivery. When stored properly in the fridge, it will stay fresh for 3-4 days. We recommend using it within this period for the best taste and fluffiest idlis.

Ordering & Delivery

Yes, but only before the 11:59 PM cut-off on the day you place your order.

Once the cut-off passes, your order is locked, and the ingredients are allocated for our 14-hour preparation process. After this point, we cannot accept cancellations or changes. This policy is in place because we are preparing the food just for you.

We deliver in the evening, typically between 8:00 PM and 10:00 PM. This is when your fresh batch is ready and when most people are home from work to receive it.

If you're not home, our delivery partner will attempt to call you. We highly recommend adding delivery instructions at checkout (e.g., "Leave with security" or "Leave at my doorstep") to ensure you get your fresh items.
